Yuki: “Here you go!”
Yuki: “The super-powered, latest model Raigar!”
Yuki: “Stronger than 90% of Golems!”
Yuki: “He has the strength to smash through a London prison cell wall!”
Yuki: “Displays total, almost pathetic obedience to his master!”
Yuki: “Also has a data bank of remonstrations for when you stray from the straight and narrow!”
Yuki: “All of this for only 5000 TB…”
Yuki: “No, let’s say 4800 TB!”
Atsuma: “Hey, you can’t sell Raigar…!”

Gamestormed Doodles: Chem the Tiem-Tops

Chem: “Doot du du!”
A quick digital painting of the Tiem-Tops Golem from the Enchanted Arms game.

This is the first Golem I chose in the game—I named it Chem.

I really like this Golem’s design and I’m trying to keep it in my party for the whole game.

Images from The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Concert Event

I attended the Zelda anniversary concert on Friday the 21st and thought I would share some pictures related to the event. Enjoy.
A poster near the entrance.
There were Zelda banners hanging in the lobby of the Pantages Theater.
We received really snazzy looking programs. Here’s the front page.
An open program.
Here’s the back page.
There was artwork of all the different Links in the program.

Oracle Link: “Really? I’m supposed to save Holodrum with this?”
OOT Adult Link: “I spy with my little Lens of Truth…”
There were stations set up to play demos of Skyward Sword throughout the lobby, and at least one area with 3DS systems set up to play Four Swords.

The place sure was crowded, and it seemed like everyone was clamoring to buy the t-shirts and posters they were selling in the lobby.

I ended up buying a big poster of the artwork in the program.
There were two other posters available—one featured OOT Link and Sheik playing ocarina and lyre, and the other featured the Wind Waker cast, I believe.

As for the music, some stand-outs for me were the Dark World theme, The Lost Woods theme from A Link to the Past, the Hyrule Castle Theme, the Spirit Tracks theme, The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Medley in general, and The Wind Waker Symphonic Movement in general. Speaking of the Wind Waker Symphonic Movement, part of the awesomeness of this piece and a few of the others is that they were synched up with videos from the games. I should also mention the Great Fairy’s Fountain Theme because the two harps going back and forth with the melody created a really cool effect.

The concert covered a surprising number of songs in its arrangements. However, I didn’t hear anything from the handheld games before the DS, which was a bit of a shame.

A Photo Tour of Hyrule: The Water Temple (The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D)

Today I bring you pictures of the Water Temple from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D for the 3DS. These pictures are by no means supposed to be a complete gallery of all the rooms in the Water Temple—they are just visual things that stood out to me during my play through.

Anyways, please enjoy!

Note the shell-like designs on the floor.
There appear to be lanterns on the overhangs.
Light reflected off the water creates patterns on the wall.
Although you don’t face any dragons in this dungeon, dragons are a big part of the temple’s design.
As you get closer to Morpha’s room, the doors become more elaborate and colorful.
The designs on this wall are particularly ornate.
The boss room door.
Look at that ceiling!
There are images of dragons in Morpha's chamber.
The neon lights make it a lot easier to find where you need to go to change the water levels.

Well, that’s all I have for you today.

Until next time!

Pokémon Global Link: Spooky Manor

You arrive at the Island of Dreams and decide to explore the Spooky Manor...

For those of you with a Pokémon Black and/or White game and a Pokémon Trainer Club account, as of yesterday the Pokémon Dream World has a new area to explore called the Spooky Manor. There are new Pokémon to find and even a new game to play.

The new game...

For my first trip to the Spooky Manor I took my Mandibuzz. What Pokémon did/will you take to the Spooky Manor the first time?
